Addison turned two the day before Thanksgiving, November 22, and had her 2 year-old check-up with the pediatrician the following week. She was on her best behavior sitting in the waiting room, but when the nurse called us back she was on me like white on rice. She was pretty stubborn and wanted to be held the entire time. She is 3 ft tall (96th percentile) and weighs 30 lbs (85th percentile), but those measurements are approximate because she wouldn't stand or sit on the scale and wouldn't sit still long enough to measure her height. I'm glad she didn't have to get shots this time, because that would have been like trying to wrestle a baby alligator! She has been talking more and more, but not as much as Greyson did at this age, which we learned is common for the second child. She has been going through another phase of biting (and getting bitten) at daycare which we learned is also common in kids who can't quite express themselves with words. She's pretty feisty, so we'll be working to help her increase her vocabulary to get past this biting phase!
She has been toting her baby with her everywhere we go lately.
