Addison had her 15-month Well Child check-up on March 21 (even though she's a day shy of 16 months old). She is now 24 lb 14 oz (87th percentile) and 33.5 inches tall (over 99th percentile!). Although she's one of the youngest in the "little toddler" room at daycare, she looks like she could be the oldest in comparison to the other kids in her class. She is starting to say a few words - Momma, DaDa, bye bye, bow and a few "words" that are not as recognizable, but we can tell what she is attempting to say. Most of those words (shoes, toes, moo) sound the same ("oooosss"). She can point out a few body parts, including eyes, nose, mouth and tummy. She has two bottom teeth coming in, one on each side of her four front teeth and the first molars). She likes to climb on everything and has gotten several bumps and bruises in the past few weeks since her new found sense of adventure kicked in.
While dropping Greyson off at daycare before the appointment, he got sick in the parking lot as I was getting him out of the truck. So I loaded him back into the truck and he tagged along with us to the appointment. The pediatrician check him out, but he seemed to be fine. He did have some sort of bite on his arm, so he got a Band-aid and a sticker and was all better.
