Easter 2018

HE IS RISEN.
HE IS RISEN, INDEED!

We woke up Easter morning to baskets full of chocolate bunnies and jelly beans that the Easter Bunny had left overnight. We got all dressed up for church and attempted 684,457 family pictures and almost got a good one! The kids had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard after church and when they became more interested in eating all the candy instead of finding the rest of the eggs, Blake brought in his 5-gallon "Easter basket" for damage control. Then, we all spent the rest of the afternoon eating too much candy!

Our sweet neighbors, Mr. Charlie and Ms. Dannette, gave the kids Easter cards with a few dollars inside. While unfolding his money and spreading it out on the couch, I asked Greyson what he was going to do with his money. His matter-of-fact reply, “Give it to Nannie so we can do all sorts of fun things.” (This was after a recent overnight stay with Nannie and a trip to Walmart in which Nannie spoiled him rotten!)

Meanwhile, Addie Sue is taking inventory of her portion of the egg hunt.
