Utopia Fall Festival

We made our rounds visiting the family in route to the Utopia Fall Festival. My mom was supposed to ride along with us, but was sick and didn't want to get anyone else sick. We grabbed lunch and took it to Grandpa's house for a quick lunch and visit (and to play on the tractor, of course!). Then, we went to the ranch to visit the Phillips crew. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures while there, but I guess I was too busy playing with Baby Jake. Then we were off to Utopia for the annual Fall Festival. I love their small town tradition of a parade down the main street and a festival and fundraising supper at the school. Each class creates a parade float and hosts a game booth. This year's parade float theme was "The Great State of Texas", and Lilly and Hallie's classes each won best float for the 2 divisions (Kinder through 4th grade and 5th grade through Senior...I think). The kids had fun collecting a whole bag full of candy tossed from the kids on the floats and playing on the school's "biiiiiggg playground".
