About a month and a half after we closed on our new house, we were finally able to move into it the last weekend of August. The flooring was finished just in the nick of time (except nine tiles in the master bathroom because the flooring guys ran out of tile, but that's another story). My family came in and helped Blake and I start moving things on Saturday morning, cleaning both the old and new houses and keeping Greyson entertained. They also helped me get the kitchen unpacked and set up Greyson's room and our bed so the house was semi-functional and we would at least have a place to crash at the end of the day. We couldn't have done it without them! We had movers come on Sunday to move all the furniture and big boxes, which worked out great. Blake and I didn't get much done during the next week, but had a very productive first weekend in our new home. There is still a lot we want to do, but we are so excited to finally be in our home.

All these empty boxes were just too tempting not to play in. |

He was so excited about his big tunnel! |

There was so much going on the first day of moving, he refused to take a nap, but he fell asleep the last 5-10 minutes of most of our trips back and forth between the houses. |

Day 2 of moving. Aunt Tanya woke up bright and early and took the kiddos to do what any great aunt would do.... bought them all chocolate covered donuts with sprinkles! The rest of the donuts and kolaches were a big hit with the big kids, too! |
