We recently decided it was time for Greyson to try out his new toddler bed. We dusted off the hand-me-down bed from Lilly and Hallie that had been sitting in our garage and washed the new Toy Story bedding that he received for his birthday. We tested the waters with a nap on Sunday and he did pretty good. He fell asleep right away, but when he woke up he was just sitting on the edge of the bed crying. That night, he was so excited to go lay on his new Buzz bed. He even wanted to go to bed early (as soon as he got out of the bathtub!) He did pretty good the first couple of nights, with only a little fussing when we laid him down. We are now in week two of the transition and he wakes up at least once during the night and then is up for the morning around 5am (he used to sleep until at least 6:30am). He comes into our room and requests milk and/or to watch Mickey or Nemo. We think he's getting us trained for his baby sister's arrival, but this momma and daddy are wore out!

When all else fails, use the Mickey Mouse hammer. |
Working hard. |
So excited to go to sleep in his Buzz bed for the first time! He has yet to actually sleep under the covers because he likes to see Buzz on the comforter. |
Greyson has figured out that Daddy will share his breakfast when he wakes up so early. |
