2015 - The Year in Review

It seems like we just started 2015, but somehow it is already the end of the year! We had A LOT of highlights in the past year, mainly within the last six months! 

We found out we would be adding another kiddo to the Butler family and filled the family in on our news on Mother's Day.

We spent Father's Day in Huntsville with the Butler Family, and got to meet our newest niece, Harper. 

Greyson turned 2 years old on July 9. Blake and I found out the gender of Baby Butler #2 the next day. We celebrated Greyson's birthday that weekend with a Micky Mouse-themed party, where Greyson's PINK birthday cupcake revealed that Greyson would be welcoming a little SISTER soon!

The following week, we become homeowners!

Greyson continues to grow and make us laugh every day! He got his first big boy bed at the end of the summer (which he has yet to sleep in consistently...).

We moved into our new house the last weekend of August, with a lot of help from our family!

Tornadoes hit my hometown of D'Hanis and current town of Geronimo in the same day. Luckily, we made it through the storm with minimal damage to our roof.

Blake won the Daddy of the Year award for dressing up like Woody, Buzz Lightyear's sidekick for Halloween.

Our sweet little Addison Sue arrived on November 22.... and the rest of the year was a blur! Blake officially started his new position as Controller right around the same time and we hosted Thanksgiving at our house the week Addison was born. We traveled to Rockwall for Christmas and have been going non-stop as life with two kiddos sinks in! It's been a great year for us filled with many blessings!

Addison's Newborn Photos

Here are a few... OK several, pictures from Addison's newborn photo shoot in early December. I love them all and couldn't pick just a few to show y'all! She was about a week and a half old and she did so good for the photographer. She slept through most of it, making it easy for the photographer to get all these sweet poses. Greyson tagged along and after some bribery with a Dum-Dum sucker, he was all smiles and proud to show off his baby sister. 

Addison - 1 Month Old

Addison turned one month old on December 22. In just one month she has already celebrated her first Thanksgiving and Christmas and met most of the family. She likes to eat every three hours on the dot and everyone says she looks like Greyson. She likes to watch her big brother and is starting to smile. :)  

Merry Christmas! Part II

Since we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas in Rockwall, Santa visited us when we got back home. Some of the favorites from Santa were a a tricycle (aka "my motorcycle"), a toolbox with tools like Daddy's and cowboy boots for Greyson and a glow worm for Addison.

We spent Christmas with the Butler side of the family in Rockwall. Greyson had fun running around with his cousins and everyone enjoyed getting to see (or meet) Addison. We arrived late Christmas Eve evening and stopped by Blake's Aunt Mary's house. The Mitchell cousins were having their family Christmas, so we got to see them for a couple of hours before heading to Nana & Papa's house to prepare for Santa's visit. We opened presents on Christmas morning and had a fun day with the family and visited Blake's Granny. We tried to get several picture of all the kiddos together, but as you can see in the following pictures, Greyson was not a willing participant.

Landa Park

The Moore girls came to see us while Lilly and Hallie were on Christmas Break. We went to Clear Springs, where Greyson thoroughly enjoyed the onion rings, and the next day we took advantage of the unseasonable beautiful weather by spending the afternoon at Landa Park.
