Picture Day

Greyson's daycare had it's annual picture day in November. We didn't buy the pictures, but I had to share the proofs of him cheesin' and posing. I guess the photographer didn't like Greyson's outfit because the pictures came back with him wearing a button-up shirt and vest with some other props and accessories. I thought it was kinda odd, but it reminded me of another handsome toddler in a very similar outfit... 

    

Newborn Photo Session

Addison had her first newborn photo session when she was about a week and a half old. Here are a few sneak peeks and snapshots of the session. She did great and slept through most of it, allowing the photographer to pose her and get some cute shots. Greyson even got in on the action. He was pretty reluctant at first, but with a little bit of bribery and one Dum-Dum sucker later, he was all smiles. I will be posting the finished photos soon!

Addison's First Doctor Appointment

Addison had her first visit to the pediatrician on November 30 (8 days old). The slight jaundice that she had a few days ago is beginning to clear up and she is starting to gain weight. She weighs 7 lbs 1 oz, which is not quite back up to her birth weight (7 lbs 7 oz), so we will go back next week to make sure she continues to gain weight.

Luckily, there haven't been any safety concerns... He just loves to see his baby sister!

Addison - 1 Week Old

Addison turned one week old on November 29.

Here are a few pictures of Addison at six days old. Her big brother loves her, she had her first bath at home and she got to meet Nana and Papa!

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Lutz side of the family this year, minus Bryan's crew who wasn't able to make it. We missed having them, but were grateful not to be exposed to the bug they had. Addison's due date was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Whether I was 9+ months pregnant or with a newborn, I knew I wouldn't be up for travelling, so we decided to host Thanksgiving at our house. Addison developed a little bit of jaundice since leaving the hospital, so between that and the whirlwind week we already had, we were grateful everyone came to us! Everyone helped prepare all the food and clean up, watched football and ate pie, and we enjoyed celebrating Addison's first holiday with family.

Going Home

After Addison was born on Sunday, we spent Monday and Tuesday in the hospital. She was given the OK to be released Tuesday morning. After picking Greyson up from Nannie & Guppie's house, we were headed home as a family of four.
