Addison has been eyeing my food at suppertime for a while, so she recently got her first taste of rice cereal. The first bite was interesting, but she seems to bet getting the hang of it now. Greyson loves to help feed her "wice ceweal".

Addison - Five Months Old
Addison turned five months old on April 22. She had a rough couple of weeks with a respiratory viral infection and then a stomach bug that lasted a very looong week and required a trip to the doctor. After getting sick in the car on the way to daycare several mornings in a row, a 3:30am bath and several loads of laundry, we finally made it through the week without anyone else getting sick, almost. Greyson did get sick one evening and it happened to be when Nannie stopped by for five minutes. She tried to help, but I chased her off, basically yelling, "Save yourself!" :) Greyson went to bed shortly after and woke up feeling fine. Hallelujah! Our happy kids are back!
Addison weighs 16 lbs 12 oz (77th percentile) and is 27.25 inches long (99th percentile). She has been staring at our food at suppertime, so she finally got her first taste of rice cereal (more to come on that). She found her feet and likes to playfully shriek very loudly! (She started this about two days after Blake and I were commenting how quite and content she always is.) She started rolling over from her back to tummy and will barely let us set her down before she is ready to roll over.

Greyson wanted to hold Addison, but as soon as I got her situated on his lap, he said in a very dramatic strained voice, "Toooo heavvvvy, Momma!" |

Addison and Baby Krista
A while back, my mom gave me an outfit that was mine when I was a baby. I knew I had a picture of me in it from when I was about 3-4 months old, so I dressed Addison in it before she grew out of it (it was close!). Everyone tells us how much she looks like Greyson when he was a baby. They definitely have the same big ol' smile, but with those big cheeks, I think she is starting to look more like me.

Look at my heart!
I showed Greyson how to make a heart with his hands on the way home from church one day. I didn't know the word "heart" could have so many syllables, but Blake and I couldn't keep from laughing at his new-found accent!

Addison - Four Months Old
Addison turned 4 months old on March 22 and had her 4 month check up on March 31. She is 16 lbs 5.5 oz (84th percentile) and 26.5 inches long (98th percentile). Even though she had to get a few shots and one oral vaccine, she was smiling again soon after. She had a cough a few weeks ago, but is back to being her normal happy self. She makes us laugh when she closes her eyes and rubs her hands on her head while drinking her bottle. She looks like she could be J.Lo running her fingers through her hair in a music video!

Easter - Round 2
The kiddos woke up on Easter morning to baskets filled with eggs and goodies and lots of eggs to hunt in the yard. We had good intentions of going to Sonrise Service, but didn't quite make it... After the kids hunted eggs, cracked a few cascarones and ate lunch, Lilly read the Easter Story to us. It was a fun weekend with the family and both kiddos were wore out. Greyson was asleep before we had made it five minutes down the road!

Easter - Round 1
We started the Easter weekend celebration by tagging along with the Moores to the community Easter Egg Hunt at The Laurel Tree restaurant in Utopia. Greyson had fun hunting eggs and even took a swing at the pinata.
Such a powerful swing! I think he was almost embarrassed, but hopped back up and took another swing.
