Getting Ready for Baby Girl

Baby Girl's arrival is getting close! My mom, sisters and niece came over one Saturday and we were all busy with different projects to prepare for her arrival. Blake worked on refinishing a dresser that my little sister and I shared as kids while my mom and I sewed curtains, a valance and a crib skirt (she sewed, I helped cut... and watched). My sisters did some serious cleaning and helped Hallie entertain Greyson. Hallie was a great babysitter and even said she would change a diaper, but her diaper-changing rate of $20 per diaper seemed a little steep. We got a lot done and their help was immensely appreciated!

Butler Family Fun

The whole side of the Butler family came to visit and see our new house the last weekend in September. We went to the Comal County Fair on Saturday morning. We arrived early and saw everything there was to see in about 30 minutes. Since the carnival wasn't open yet and it was already starting to heat up, we headed back home to hang out and watch the kiddos play. It's so nice to have a big backyard for all of them to run around.

Headed to the fair!
Watching the tractor pull.
Gage and Harper - he's such a good big brother!
The boys playing baseball. Notice Wyatt in the Jeep and Greyson pulling a wagon through the middle of the "infield".
Nana and Harper
We attempted to get a picture of all the grandkids, but not everyone wanted to participate.
Wagon rides for everyone!

Catching Up...

I have been slacking on any new posts lately, so I'll try to catch up with a few highlights coming soon....
Deer blind shopping with the Moores in Hondo.
Playing with Aunt Tanya.
Riding Aunt Amy and Uncle Barrett's "tractor".
Notice who's in the driver's seat...
After a huge storm damaged both of our recently built deer blinds at the ranch (that Blake and Wayne worked so hard on), we decided it was time for a new one. Blake happened to find this ginormous blind for sale at the ranch across the road from ours. As you can see, it can accommodate the whole family. We can't wait to take all the kiddos hunting!
