Cousin Fun

Since my brother and his family were recently in Austin for a work conference, the Lutz side of the family met up at our house for a weekend of fun with the kiddos. The kids all played well together, for the most part. There were a few tense moments between Greyson and Caitlin when Greyson didn't want to share ANY of his toys. At one point he was wearing the necklace that she wanted to hear, holding the toy she wanted to play with and pushing the toy shopping cart she wanted to push. His hands were full, but he wasn't giving in. Obviously, Greyson needs to work on his sharing. :) The weather was warm enough for the kids to swim and play in the splash pad and we headed outside as soon as we had a sliver of shade in the backyard. They swam, played in Greyson's car and wagon and blew bubbles while Blake and Wayne fried up some fish (courtesy of Papa!).

Lilly and Hallie provided the bedtime stores for the little kiddos.

Love this smile!
How many cousins can you fit in one kiddie pool??
Hallie helping Greyson on the slide - he loved it!!
More sliding!
Trying to blow his own bubbles...
Fun in the sun!
Caitlin working on some core strengthening exercises on her workout ball.
Bryan and Wyatt taking a break.
After everyone went home, Greyson found Wyatt's blanket and Hallie's purple brush. I guess he already missed his cousins because he wouldn't let go and insisted on taking them to bed with him.

Snapshots

Chick-fil A dinner date with my main (little) man while Daddy played in a golf tournament.
Coloring Elmo.
So serious during a guitar lesson with Daddy.
He was so excited to put the guitar strap on his shoulder and hold it in his lap - just like Daddy.

Bonnie's Baby Shower

Last weekend we went to Rockwall for a baby shower to celebrate the Mommy-to-Be, Bonnie, and Harper Grace (due in June!). The weather turned out great for the outdoor shower and Harper received lots and lots of cute clothes and headbands! After the shower, we went to a park so Greyson could burn off some energy. He loved sliding with Daddy and laughed and rubbed his head every time the static electricity made his hair stand straight up. We had a great time with the family and can't wait for Baby Harper's debut!

Easter

Greyson had a blast hunting Easter eggs with Lilly and Hallie. They gave him a head start, but he definitely kept up with them! Grandpa and Aunt Amy also came to visit, eat and play. The Easter Bunny even left money in some of the eggs, so Greyson got to put the coins in his piggy bank when we got home. He laughed every time he dropped a coin in. After he put all the money in the piggy bank, he then tried to shove Starbursts in the coin slot.

Easter Weekend with the Moores

We visited my sister and her family in Utopia over the Easter weekend. Greyson loved playing with Lilly and Hallie - and all their fun toys! The weather was a bit dreary and cool, but the kids still had fun playing outside on the trampoline and swing set, riding in the Jeep and decorating eggs and sugar cookies. We were supposed to go to a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday with Lilly and Hallie, but Greyson decided to skip nap time earlier in the day. He fell asleep as soon as we got in the car and slept straight through the Easter Egg Hunt and festivities.

I sat in the car while Greyson slept through the Easter Egg Hunt. He woke up just as the festivities were wrapping up.
Dyeing and decorating eggs.
So. Many. Sprinkles.
iCascarones!
The girls took turns driving Greyson up and down the driveway. He loved it and didn't want to get out!
Still cruisin'....

This is what big cousins are for! Lilly taught Greyson the proper technique of a whoopie cushion.

Fore!

Blake recently bought a new golf club and went to test it out in the back yard, and of course his little shadow wanted to play too. He was pretty reckless with Daddy's expensive driver, but loved whacking it in grass and swinging it all over the place, sometimes a little too close to the brick exterior wall of the house! I think Greyson will be getting a Fisher Price golf set soon. :)

Busy Weekend

Last weekend was a busy one for us. Our neighborhood was having a community garage sale, so we decided to round up some junk to try to make a few dollars. Blake went to Shipley's to get kolaches and donuts before the garage sale. Greyson really enjoyed his first taste of Shipley's! After lunch and naptime, we headed to Blake's office for a family day hosted by Flowers. Greyson had a hot dog (on a Flowers-made bun, of course) and later his first taste of cotton candy. He didn't quite know what to do with it and didn't like it as much as Daddy. He also got to play in a bouncy house for a few minutes, until bigger kids came. Once he figured out what to do, he was getting knocked down and wanted out!

Another Shipley's fan!
Loving his first time in the bouncy house!

Eating cotton candy with Daddy.
Practicing for next week's Easter Egg Hunt. He figured it out pretty quickly and Daddy taught him to gather several eggs in his hands and dump them in his basket.
Aviators!
